SOCC Volleyball loses to Linn Benton CC last night on October 09, 2009. Southwestern Girls came out 1-2 in their league and after the loss fell to 1-3 in league play. Overall the team is 11-15 throughout the season. SOCC is currently tied in 4th place with Linn Benton.
1st Set - Linn Benton (25-17)
2nd Set - SOCC (26-18)
3rd Set - Linn Benton (27-15)
4th Set - SOCC (18-25)
5th Set - Linn Benton (16-14)
The teams required a fifth set as SOCC managed to tie in thier fourth set, 2-2. Unfortunately SOCC was not able to come out on top. Katie Jolliffe #5 and Rose Matson #12 both lead in kills for the night with 12 kills each. Come out and support the girls of SOCC Volleyball when they face off against several opponents in the Southwestern Oregon Tournament on October 16-17, 2009.
