Lakers come back with another draw against Everett Community College

Current Standings

Lady Lakers were ready to face their next opponents on October 3rd, 2009. Their opponents, The Everett Trojans were ready to play on their own home field. Both teams stepped onto the field and the referee gave start to the game.

Everett girls found the net first when Hannah Wood scored in the 25th minute. Back and forth the Lakers and Everett Trojans fought to finish the game with a win. As the game was about to end Maria Moylan #2 of the Lakers scores on a one on one vs. the Everett Keeper. The Lakers fought hard and ended up with a tie at the end of the game.

Captain Sarah Smith #10 shared a few comments after the game, "i think we played very well. We had lot's of chances to score. Their goalie was really good!" I asked her what they could do better next game and she said, "We just have to finish our shots and as coach says capitalize on opportunities."
