The North Bend High School boys tennis team traveled to Grants Pass High School where they faced off their top twelve players. Grants Pass was the expected victor in this match-up but North Bend did better than expected. Though North Bend came out with a loss they performed better than expected. The first spot singles player for Grants Pass was out but it didn't stunt them in their singles players as they still won all four of the singles matches. As for the doubles North Bend showed their true talent as they won the second, third, and fourth slot doubles games. Only the first spot lost as North Bend experiments with their second and third place singles players as a talented doubles team and it almost paid off as the match went to a tiebreaker for the third set and as both teams needed 10 points it went 9-9 and after a long rallying point Grants Pass got a perfect smash into the court and it was not returned. Both schools performed great but Grants Pass came out with the win at a final score of North Bend (3 Games) - (5 Games) Grants Pass.
