HOA Files Suit against Dissenting Homeowner

Most people are aware that the relationship between homeowner associations (HOAs) and individual members is not always a happy one. Disagreement about the rules, the enforcement of the rules, or the interpretation of the rules can lead to contention and sometimes even litigation. While it is not common, it certainly is not unheard of for a homeowner to sue the association over some issue or another.
