High Hopes for New Coach!!

Karl Kennedy is the New MHS Soccer Coach.

Due to the finacial crisis with the school districts in oregon many high schools had to find ways to conserve money and one of them was by cutting sports. Marshfield High School was no different than any other school when it came to this. This year MHS Soccer was on the line for being cut becuase the money for the sports was being used else were, but thanks to Karl Kennedy a local soccer enthusiast the sport will be at Marshfield High School. Karl agreed to coach not only the Mens Varsity but the Mens Junior Varsity and Girls Varsity team without any pay. Karl has been active in the Bay Area Soccer Club for many years coaching and recently went to a few coaching clinics in Oregon so he could further his knowledge on soccer.
